A scarce new edition. Held institutionally in only one UK library. In the publisher's original, full cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Complete with a portrait frontispiece. The complete prophecies of Nostradamus, translated, edited and interpreted by Henry C. Roberts. With concise and simple interpretations. Nostradamus was a French astrologer, apothecary and reputed seer from the sixteenth century. He is best known for his book, 'Les Propheties', which allegedly predicts future events. He is accredited with predicting the Great Fire of London, the French Revolution and the Rise of Adolf Hitler. Henry C. Roberts was a bookseller and student of the occult. Additionally, he was the president of Nostradamus Inc., an institution devoted to spreading the messages of Nostradamus.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, vert smart with some light shelf wear to the edges. Bumping to the spine. Fading to the upper boards and spine. Light spotting to the boards. Scattered spots to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Light offsetting to the free endpapers. The original unclipped dust wrapper is in very smart condition. Some shelf wear to the edges and chipping to the spine. Small closed tear to the rear panel. Spotting to the flyleafs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age-toned but otherwise very bright and clean with just the odd spot throughout.
