First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first edition of this short story collection, held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Sir Kingsley Amis was a popular English novelist, poet, critic and teacher. He wrote in many genres including comedy, science fiction and mystery. He was regarded as one of the finest English comic novelists of the second half of the twentieth century. Amis won many awards during his time, including the Booker Prize, which he was shortlisted for three times before finally winning in 1986.

Condition

In original full cloth binding and held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally , very smart with little to no shelfwear to the extremities. Spine is faded slightly. Dustwrapper is very smart with light bumping to the extremities. A few spots to wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
