First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
The first edition of this fascinating novel by popular author Iris Murdoch. This novel presents the most complex web of human relationships Miss Murdoch's imagination has spun: tensile, elegant, shimmering. This novel is packed with irony, pathos, affection, lust, illusion and disillusion. A unique tragi-comedy about the folies, myseries, and ambiguities of love that engages and surprises.
