The beloved Famous Five group first appeared in print in the 1942 novel 'Five on a Treasure Island', 'Five Are Together Again' was published twenty-one years after the first novel.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth bindings, in the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Spots to the fore edges. Age-toning to the paste downs and endpapers of 'Together Again'. Ownership inscription the verso of the front endpaper of 'Together Again'. Minor edge wear to the dust wrappers, heavier to 'Together Again', where edge wear has resulted in loss to the head and tail of the spine. Light handling marks to the wraps. Spots to the reverse of the wraps. Aged tape to the fly leaves of 'Together Again', as well as ink notes. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Ink notes to the foreword of 'Together Again'.
