This novel is in Wheatley's 'Duke de Richleau' series, and covers the period of the 31st May 1906 to 14th September 1909.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper is lightly edge worn with some scattered spots. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Author's inscription to the title page.
