The ninth novel in the James Bond series, 'Thunderball' was the first novelisation of an unfilmed James Bond screenplay. The plot was a collaboration of Ian Fleming, Kevin McClory, Jack Whittingham, Ivar Bryce and Ernest Cuneo. 

Bond and Blofeld never meet in this novel, but it is the first novel where Bond meets the schemes of his crime syndicate SPECTRE. 

A bright copy of this important Bond novel.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelfwear to the extremities. Offsetting to the cloth, possible remnants from prior adhesive. Evidence of prior adhesive to the front and rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Occasional scattered spots to pages, heavier to the first and last few pages. Small hole to the title page.
