A very smart, first edition copy of this children's fantasy novel by 20th century author Mary Norton. This novel is the fourth from 'The Borrowers' series, Norton's most famous works.
Containing a frontispiece in colour and numerous in-text illustrations by Diana Stanley.
In the original unclipped pictorial dust wrapper.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely, with just a small amount of bumping and slight fading to the spine and extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart, with just some minor edgewear, particularly to the head of the spine. A small closed tear to the head of the rear joint, and some sunning and a few marks to the rear wrap. A few light marks to the interior of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
