Second edition of Bantu Prophets in South Africa by Bengt G. M. Sundkler in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper.
First published in 1948, this edition was published for the International African Institute.
Illustrated with eighteen monochrome plates. Collated, complete.
This work is a study of Independent Zulu Churches in South Africa. Bengt Sundkler was a Swedish-Tanzanian historian who specialised in the history of churches.
In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. The dust wrapper is slightly faded with a small mark to the front board. To the binding, there is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
