The fine first edition of this work, in the publisher's original dust wrapper, price clipped.

A collection of personal and intimate autobiographical blank verse poems by noted Poet Laureate John Betjeman. These poems relay his life from his early memories of a middle-class home in Edwardian Hampstead, London, to his premature departure from Magdalen College, Oxford.

Illustrated by Michael Tree.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price clipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely. Dust wrapper with small marks to front wrap, and edgewear to head of back strip. Two small closed tears to head of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
