In the publisher's original cloth binding. 

This work contains forty eight full pages of illustrations of costumes, uniforms and ceremonial dress of many parts of Nigeria. Alongside each painting explains the distinguishing factors and contexts. 

It was published in celebration of Nigeria's achievement of independence in October 1960.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with slight rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout.
