A limited edition work, limited to two-hundred and fifty copies, of which one-hundred and ninety are for sale. These volumes are numbered ninety-three. Complete in six volumes. Held in the original publisher's slipcase. Slipcase in a very good indeed condition. These six stories were published in this limited edition set, as they had been selected by Guy Morgan as being his favourites that he had written. The set contains; 'William McShakespeare', published 1960, with a frontispiece by John Worsley. 'Judgement Day', published 1960, with a wood engraving frontispiece by Cecil Gill. 'Toad in the Stalls', published 1961', with a frontispiece and illustrated title page by Maureen Roffey. 'Mr Christmas Strikes Back', published 1962, with a frontispiece by Jane Brown. 'The Commissar', published 1962, with a frontispiece by Bernard Lodge. 'The Bird', published 1961, with a linocut frontispiece by John Tribe. Written by Guy Morgan. Morgan was a screenwriter, whose first novel was 'The Captive Heart' written after he was held as a prisoner of war in World War II.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper binding with dustwrappers, held in the original publisher's slipcase. Externally, smart. Slipcase with a little bumping to the boards, and a little mark and loss to the spine label. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Slipcase in a very good indeed condition.
