'The Complaisant Lover' is a comedic play, revolving around an affair between the married woman Mary Rhodes and her husband's book-seller friend, Clive Root.

Graham Greene was one of the most popular authors of the twentieth century, known for his works 'Brighton Rock', 'The End of the Affair' and 'Our Man in Havana'.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart, with some marks to the front board. Odd spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper is lightly discoloured with some spots. Faint tidemark to the front flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
