One of Agatha Christie's detective novels featuring the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, largely set in a prestigious all-girls school, where a teacher is found dead in the sports pavilion. Schoolgirl Julia Upjohn seems to know to much, Hercule Poirot appears to solve the mystery. 

Agatha Christie is known as one of the Queens of Crime, one of the best-selling authors of all time.  A prolific writer, she authored sixty-six detective novels and numerous short story collections, her most famous characters are Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely. Previous owner's gift inscription to the front free endpaper, dated 1919. The dust wrapper is unclipped and very smart, lightly spotted internally to the wraps and externally to the rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
