Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Norman's memoir was held in high esteem due to the frankness of his accounts regarding his time in prison on the Isle of Wight.

With the introduction written by Raymond Chandler, who was Norman's advocate, stating 'If I had been in prison five times, I doubt very much that I should have had the courage to write about it so vividly and at times even humorously.

A very bright copy of this work, with a near fine dustwrapper.
