Written by P. M. Holt, a historian well known for his works on the Middle East and Sudan.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. A couple of very light marks to the boards and spine. A small amount of bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Dustwrapper with some chips to the head and tail of the spine, with some small closed tears to the extremities and folds. Discolouration to the spine of the dustwrapper, with some light marks to the wraps. A couple of light spots to the fore edge. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
