1958 Prager Alltag
What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce
First edition of Prager Alltag by Erich Einhorn in the original publisher's cloth binding.
A scarce work with only two copies held in libraries.
A lovely photography exhibition of 'Everyday Life in Prague' in black and white.
Erich Einhorn was a Czech photographer and publicist during the twentieth century. His story is astounding. In 1944, he was interned in a concentration camp near Opole, Poland, and escaped. He travelled to Kosice in current day Slovakia and photographed for the new Czechoslovak government.
No dust wrapper present.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The extremities of the cloth are slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
