Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Nadine Gordimer (born 20 November 1923) is a South African writer, political activist and recipient of the 1991 Nobel Prize in Literature. She was recognised as a woman "who through her magnificent epic writing has – in the words of Alfred Nobel – been of very great benefit to humanity".

Condition

In a burgundy cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart. Dustwrapper is sound, with some marks and some slight edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Tipped-in catalogue cutting about the book to the front free-endpaper, and bookseller's label to front pastedown. Pages are bright, with just the occasional spot.
