Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original clipped dustwrappers. Externally, smart. A few minor marks to the boards. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Rear hinge of Volume II is starting but firm. Ink mark to the recto to the front endpaper of Volume I. Dustwrappers with light edgewear, repaired to the reverse of the wraps. Edgewear resulting in a few small closed tears and small chips. Light discolouration and some marks to the wraps. Prior owner's ink to the head of the wraps, and to the front flyleaves. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
