Three scarce first edition pop-up books for children in full colour in the original publisher's hardcover bindings.
This collection includes the following works:
Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty Pop-Up Book (c1958), published by Dean. Complete with three pop-ups. The first two pop-ups are in perfect working order. The third is damaged, with some loss and a few tears, and the pop-up therefore does not work.
Alice and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party (1969), published by Purnell. Complete with three pop-ups in full working order. The third pop-up requires a little assistance to stand freely.
Mickey's Underwater Adventure (1973), published by Purnell. Complete with three pop-ups in good working order.
Condition
In the original publisher's hardcover bindings. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. On 'Sleeping Beauty' this has resulted in some slight wear to these areas. The pop-ups are in full working order with the exception of the third pop-up of 'Sleeping Beauty' which does not work. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
