Description

Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

This sequel to 'Peter Pan' by Barrie was staged as a play in 1908, but first published in 1957 after Barrie's death. It is an epilogue to the famous work.

'Peter Pan' was first written as a 1904 play followed by a 1911 novel by J. M Barrie (1860-1937), and remains one of the most renowned and popular works of children's fiction following a number of successful adaptations to stage and screen. Set on the island of Neverland, it follows the Darling children's adventures with Peter Pan, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, and the Lost Boys. Barrie gave the copyright to Great Ormond Street Hospital only a few years before this edition was published, and the hospital continues to benefit from this.

Illustrated by D. Michael Lennard.

This is a first edition, with a clipped dust wrapper in excellent condition.
