Dion Fortune was the co-founder of the Fraternity of the Inner Light, an occult organisation that promoted philosophies which she claimed had been taught to her by spiritual entities known as the 'Ascended Masters'. She is recognised as one of the most significant occultists and ceremonial magicians of the early twentieth century.

Dust wrapper lightly sunned to back strip, with small closed tear to back strip tail, and edgewear to back strip head. Minor handling marks to rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
