This work was written by Vappala Pangunni Menon, an Indian civil servant, and tells the story of the integration of the Indian States. Menon provides a first hand historical account, due to his heavy involvement with the integration, acting as Secretary of the Government of India and convincing the rulers of the princely state to accede to India.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Lacking dust wrapper. Externally very smart with marks to the boards and minimal fading to the text to the spine. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with generally clean and bright pages with the odd spot.
