This first edition details the life and career of Karl Kling (1910-2003), a Formula One racing driver from Germany. Kling was the first German to ever make it onto the Formula One podium, achieving this honour twice. He raced in eleven Formula One Grand Prix, and was vital in bringing about Mercedes' return to international competition in the 1950s. His story is one of true determination and drive.

Profusely illustrated with ninety photographs.

Lacking original dustwrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, without a dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Internally firmly bound, pages bright and clean bar very minor spotting to edges and rear endpapers.
