Established in 1929 in Britain, the company was renowned for its development of recording methods and producing the concept of cast albums in the musical genre. Written by Sir Edward Lewis, an English businessman best known for leading the Decca recording and technology group for five decades.

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
