Written by Michael Gelfand and including a foreword by Sir Robert Tredgold. 

The scarce first edition of this work, enclosed in the vanishingly scarce original dust wrapper. 

Illustrated with twenty-five plates, collated and complete.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely, with just a touch of shelf wear. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart, with some edgewear and fading to the backstrip. A few closed tears to the extremities of the wrap, with tape repairs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
