Four leaves of contemporary paper loosely inserted, titled 'The Theory of Massage', containing a typed treatise on the medical benefits of massage and how to massage. The leaf loosely inserted leaf is title 'Osteopathic Nerve Centre' and explains osteopathic nerve manipulation.
Condition
In the original publisher's quatrer cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with some marks and discolouration to the boards. A little wear to the spine and extremities. Faint ringmark and tidemark to the rear board. Internally, binding is a little cracked, and the pages of the bound-in booklet are working loose. Pages are bright and clean with a couple of odd spots. Plates are a little edge-worn with a couple of closed tears to the folds. The fold-out pieces of the plate is in a fine condition with no pieces missing.
