This work offers an exploration by a Western architect of the role of ritual and myth in early civilisations. This is its first publication in book form, however it was originally a contribution to the journal 'The Builder' in 1928.
Includes fifteen monochrome plates and illustrations throughout the text. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. The dust wrapper is slightly worn to the extremities and is also slightly discoloured. The binding has some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The boards are slightly marked with tape residue. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
