In the original price-clipped dustwrapper.

Volume I only, being Volume II of a total of four volumes.

'A History of the English-Speaking Peoples' is Churchill's history detailing the life of Britain and its former colonies throughout the world.

Churchill covers from Caesar's invasions of Britain, up to the end of the Second Boer War.

Illustrated with the occasional full-paged map.

Written by Winston Churchill. Though this work was well received, his best known historical work is 'The Second World War'.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper with minor edgewear and minor marks and discolouration. Pages are bright and clean, with just a few scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
