The first of four volumes on British history by Winston Churchill. Churchill offers a survey of British history from Caesar's invasion of Britain in 55BC to the War of the Roses in the sixteenth century in the first volume of the former Prime Minister's work on Britain and its former colonies.

Condition

In the publisher's original red cloth binding. Externally, smart, with a little rubbing to the front board. Lightly bumped to the head and tail of the spine, with a small closed tear to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound, with bright and clean pages throughout.
