That Uncertain Feeling is a satire on life and culture in a Welsh seaside town. The plot follows a married librarian who starts an affair with a bored wife. In 1961, this novel was made into a movie called Only Two Can Play, starring Peter Sellers.
Kingsley Amis was an English novelist, poet, critic, and teacher. He is best known for his satirical comedy writings such as Lucky Jim, Jake's Thing, and The Old Devils.

In the publisher's original red cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally lovely with minor shelfwear only. Dustwrapper is excellent with only very minor shelfwear, unclipped. Spine is very slightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
