'Officers and Gentlemen' is the second novel in Evelyn Waugh's influential 'Sword of Honour' trilogy, exploring the Second World War in a series loosely based off Waugh's own wartime experiences.
Evelyn Waugh was a noted English author of the twentieth century, best known for his novel ‘Brideshead Revisited’ and ‘A Handful of Dust’.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally smart, with only a few faint marks to the boards. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn with some small chips and closed tears, with a larger closed tear repaired with tape to the rear wrap. A little discolouration to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
