The third collection of Sackville-West's gardening articles contributed to 'The Observer'.
Written by Vita-Sackville West (1892-1962), an English writer and designer of gardens. She penned numerous novels, poems, letters and diaries, as well as articles and non-fiction works regarding gardening. A lover of Virginia Woolf, she was the inspiration for the protagonist of 'Orlando: A Biography'.

Complete with the bright and unclipped dust wrapper.
Illustrated throughout with photographs in black and white.
Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just a little general wear. Dust wrapper is a little sunned to the spine, with wear to the head and tail. Ownership inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
