What Our Customers Say...

Description

Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

A comprehensive and important guide to the birds of Sudan, considered the first of its kind.

Written by Colonel Francis O. Cave and James D. Macdonald.

Illustrated with twelve plates in colour, as well as in-text illustrations, by D. M. Reid Henry.

A first edition of this work, complete with an unclipped dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding, complete with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just a little slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is chipped to the head and tail of the spine, resulting in slight loss; there is a tear to the corner of the front cover, and some general discolouration to the paper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
