Illustrated, Pleasing Copy, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Reginald John Farrer was a renowned traveller and plant collector who published a number of books on rock gardening. Complete in two volumes, with the original price-clipped dustwrappers. Featuring a tipped-in bookplate of a 'W. B. Steeves' to the pastedown of each volume. Collated, complete with fifty two black and white plates to volume I, and five black and white plates to volume II.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with original price-clipped dustwrappers. Externally lovely. Dustwrapper generally smart, with slight bumping and chipping to extremities and head and tail of spine. Slight fading and the odd light mark to spine of wrap. Slight loss to head of rear joint of wrap, volume I. Prior owner's bookplate tipped to the pastedown of each volume. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean throughout.
