Robert Oppenheimer and an indictment of the government's present security system in the U.S. Oppenheimer was the wartime head of the Los Alamos Laboratory and is often credited as the "father of the atomic bomb" for his role in the Manhattan Project—the World War II undertaking that developed the first nuclear weapons. Written by Joseph Alsop, an American journalist and syndicated newspaper columnist, and his brother Stewart Alsop, an American newspaper columnist and political analyst.

Condition

In the original paper binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear, minor rubbing to the extremities and one small mark to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
