This is the eighth novel in the Gregory Sallust series. This espionage novel is set amongst a lost community in China, ruled by the descendants of the ancient Imperial House. When the throne suddenly becomes vacant, Gregory sets out to find the real heir. Written by Dennis Wheatley, a prolific author known for his thrillers and occult novels.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and minor marks to the spine. Some spots to the endpapers. Dustwrapper with some light edgewear, heavier to the head and tail of the spine. A few minor marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
