Undated. Dated from Jisc 1954-1960, being respectively the third impression of Taliessin Through Logres and a later reprint of The Region of the Summer Stars. Two volumes issued in one by Charles Williams.
Comprising a miscellaneous of poems by this author published posthumously, being his finest achievements. The central subject for the collection is the relations of human nature with the romantic wilderness of the forest of Broceliande, from which Taliessin comes, and with the rule and grace of the Divine Emperor, on the border of whose empire lies the land of Logres, being Britain.
The poems are chosen in their relevance to eternal human truths of the human experience.

Condition
In the original publisher's red cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelfwear and a minor damping mark to the front board. Inscribed by a previous owner to the front free endpaper Peter Gant 1963. The dustwrapper is excellent, unclipped, with only minor shelfwear and a slight tone ageing throughout, as usual due to the type of paper used. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
