Steinbeck's 1945 novel 'Cannery Row' was set during the Great Depression, and followed the residents of a street lined with sardine canneries. This is a sequel to that novel, following the characters and locations of the first novel in the years after the end of the Second World War.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Minor shelf wear to spine tail, otherwise externally excellent. Dust wrapper exceptionally bright, with back strip head lightly age toned, and with a small chip to the tail of the back strip. Two small closed tears to the head of the front flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
