Following the gripping story of Hilary Craven, a woman who is set on committing suicide, until she is recruited by the British secret service for a mission to impersonate the wife of a nuclear scientist who has recently disappeared. This is one of the five Christie novels not to have received any kind of adaptation. 

A lovely copy in the unclipped dust wrapper.

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only. Dust wrapper unclipped and smart with some shelf wear, lightly stained to rear wrap. Mino ink inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
