Volume IV covers the period from June 1944 to December 1945 and is edited by Lieutenant Colonel Sir J. E. H. Neville. 
This volumes give a record of the 43rd, 52nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 70th, 1st Buckinghamshire Battalion, the regimental depot and the light infantry training centre in the second world war. With nineteen maps and eight plates. Collated, complete. Published by Gale & Polden in 1954.

Volume LVI is an annual record of the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry complied and edited by Brigadier-General C. G. Higgins. This volume covers from January to December 1954. With eight plates. Collated, complete. Published by Slatter & Rose in 1955.
