Contemporary binding, bound in half-crushed morocco on marbled boards by an apprentice at Isaac Pitman & Sons. Externally, excellent, with no noticeable faults other than a bit of age-toning to the margins of marbled boards. Light offsetting to margins of endpapers from the leather binding. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout, with the lightest of age-toning to margins of text.
