Scarce work. The year book from the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls, in 1953, a private school instituted in 1788, with the aim of caring for the daughters of poor Freemasons. In 1978, the school opened to girls beyond the daughters of freemasons. Illustrated with many black and white photographs throughout. The year book coincides with the 165th anniversary of the school and their Anniversary Festival of Wednesday 13th May, 1953. This work includes a guide to the festival, with details of the menu, toast list, and artists or musicians to perform, as well as the Stewards' Lists for the festival, and Summary of Stewards' Lists flier.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear only. Original unclipped dust wrapper also smart with light shelf wear and minor chipping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
