A complete collection of the dialogues of noted Greek philosopher Plato, a highly important writer and academic during the Classical period. He founded the Platonist School of thought, and was integral in the formation of written dialogue and dialectic forms of philosophy. Among his most famous works are 'The Apology', 'The Republic', 'Gorgias', 'The Phaedo', and 'The Crito'. 

Translated into English and accompanied by analyses and introductions by Benjamin Jowett, Master of Balliol College and Regius Professor of Greek at the University of Oxford. 

Complete in four volumes.
