With the cover and fly leaves of the original dust wrapper pasted to the rear endpaper and pastedown. 

From the library of Leonard Harrison Matthews, a British zoologist known for his work on marine mammals. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society and a prolific author.

An excellent first edition of this work.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just the lightest general wear. Dust wrapper has been pasted to the rear endpaper and pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
