This work was first published in Punch during 1851. This work is privately printed. It states 'Charles Rosner for his friends'. Illustrated throughout by Ronald Searle. Ronald Searle was a British artist and satirical cartoon artist. He created the famous St Trinian's School and collaborated with Geoffrey Willans on the Molesworth series. Searle received many critical recognition for his work especially in America. He won the National Cartoonists Society's Advertising and Illustration Award in 1959 and 1965, The Reuben Award in 1960 and many more.

In original paper wraps. Externally, smart. Light age toning to the wrap edges and a few small marks to wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
