Written by Vita-Sackville West (1892-1962), an English writer and designer of gardens. She penned numerous novels, poems, letters and diaries, as well as articles and non-fiction works regarding gardening. A lover of Virginia Woolf, she was the inspiration for the protagonist of 'Orlando: A Biography'.

Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just some slight minor wear. Dust wrapper is a little sunned to the spine, with some wear to the head and tail, but is otherwise in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
