What Our Customers Say...

Description

Early Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The third impression of this work, published in the same year as the first.

In the publisher's original price-clipped dust wrapper.

This instalment follows the dramatic effects of a charming Inspector of Secondary Schools, Mr Rupert Rover, and the ferocity of struggle for his love between two of the students.

Delightfully illustrated throughout by English artist and satirical cartoonist, Ronald Searle, who created the world of St Trinian's as a gag cartoon comic strip series.

With text by Timothy Shy, which is the pen-name for British author and journalist, D. B. Wyndham Lewis, who is known for his humorous newspaper articles.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. In the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light shelf wear and marks to the extremities. Dust wrapper is very smart, with sunning and edge wear. With a couple small closed tears and scattered spotting to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound.
