First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

This work follows a group of officers as they flee their enemy, aided by Marie Chassaigne, member of escape organisation 'The River Line'.

Written by Charles Morgan, a British novelist whose works focused on 'art, love, and death'. His works spanned plays, novels, essay collections and poetry.

This was Morgan's second play of three only. 

The first edition of this work, complete with an excellent clipped dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding with a clipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just the slightest minor wear. Dust wrapper is a touch sunned to the spine, but is otherwise in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
