Folio. Very scarce limited edition of one hundred and twenty five copies, of which this is number ninety five. Bound in quarter green morocco by W. H. Smith and Son. In the original publisher's slipcase. This particular work is part two, covering chapters XIII-XXIV. Profusely illustrated throughout, with numerous photogravures and collotype plates. This beautifully bound work offers an in depth look at the history of The Times and thus by association, a history of Britain and covers the reporting of topics such as Imperialism, the abdication of King Edward and the Naval treaty.
In a quarter green morocco. In the original publisher's slipcase. Externally in excellent condition with very minor fading to the spine. Slight loss to the extremity of the spine. Slipcase is very smart with rubbing to the boards and extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Slipcase is in very good condition.
