'Mrs McGinty's Dead' is a charming and humorous detective novel featuring Hercule Poirot and his novelist friend Ariadne Oliver. The novel is a village mystery, revolving around the death of the charwoman Mrs McGinty, who was apparently killed by her lodger. Her lodger is convicted and is due to be executed for the murder, when Poirot is called in to investigate the further.

In the publisher's original price cloth binding. Bumping to spine head and tail, with fading to back strip and light mark to back strip tail. Light spotting to fore edge of text block. Inscription to head of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, with instances of light spotting.
